M/s VARAHA CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, established as a registered firm in 1980, has been a pioneering force in road construction. Founded by Mr. Mufat Singh Rao, the company initially operated predominantly in Western Rajasthan, setting a strong foundation in infrastructure development. Over time, with unwavering commitment and in-depth industry knowledge, the firm expanded its footprint beyond regional limits. Today, Varaha's operational landscape spans multiple states including Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Bihar. The company has successfully diversified its portfolio from Rajasthan PWD works to include prestigious contracts with National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), Railway Department, Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC), RIDCOR, RSRDC, UIT, and Madhya Pradesh Rural Road Development Authority (MPRRDA)

Leadership and Management:

At the helm is Mr. Mufat Singh Rao, whose vision and dedication have steered the company since its inception. The leadership baton has gradually passed to the next generation, with his three sons, dynamic and industry-savvy professionals, joining the enterprise in the early 2000s. This infusion of youthful energy and expertise has catalyzed Varaha’s transformation into a dynamic and contemporary construction powerhouse.

Transformation to Varaha Infra Limited (VIL):

In recognition of the evolving industry landscape and to embrace a corporate ethos, the founders incorporated Varaha Infra Limited (VIL) on 11th April 2008. This transition from a proprietary firm to a public limited company marked a new chapter—one aimed at scaling operations, enhancing governance, and broadening infrastructure services. VIL specializes in comprehensive infrastructure development including construction, maintenance, and upgradation of roads, bridges, BOT projects, and railways. The company strategically acquired the business and assets of M/s Varaha Construction Company, further consolidating its position.

Managing Director

Mr. Prem Singh Rao, Managing Director of Varaha Infra Limited, brings over two decades of experience in the road construction industry. A self-motivated and results-driven leader, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to strengthen management teams and lead dynamic business growth. His core competencies lie in project management, financial strategy, marketing, and cost control, with hands-on involvement in policy implementation and high-level planning. He oversees the in-house design and engineering initiatives, ensuring innovative value engineering and the adoption of the latest methodologies. Mr. Rao maintains excellent communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, building strong networks globally.

He leads with a strategic vision focused on quality, profitability, and operational efficiency. Mr. Rao actively engages in shaping the company’s direction through detailed business planning, comprehensive reporting, and performance improvement initiatives. He is known for developing sustainable client relationships that contribute to revenue growth while ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards. With his entrepreneurial spirit and commercial acumen, Mr. Rao has built Varaha Infra Limited into a reputable name in infrastructure development, especially in road and bridge construction, while keeping business expenditure aligned with strategic goals.

Mr Jagdev Singh Rao
Director

Mr. Jagdev Singh Rao, Director at Varaha Infra Limited, is a seasoned infrastructure leader with nearly two decades of experience in large-scale construction projects. Since joining the company in 2005, he has played a pivotal role in delivering over 50 infrastructure projects, including highway expansions (4-laning and 6-laning), ROBs, RUBs, and bridges. His expertise also spans airport infrastructure, with key roles in the Dholera International Airport and other upcoming airport projects. He currently oversees international projects in countries like Myanmar, Armenia, Maldives, and Cambodia, showcasing his global project leadership.

Known for his hands-on approach and exceptional work ethic, Mr. Rao works over 12 hours a day and closely monitors the company’s financial performance while driving high team productivity. His leadership style blends technical acumen with strategic vision, earning him recognition such as the Best Contractor Award. His commitment to excellence continues to set benchmarks in project execution and team management across the company’s operations.

Office Setup :

Company’s Head Office is recently shifted to the Newly build Office Building Comprising of 16,000 Sq Ft. floor area in four floors having Ultra Modern facilities. It is fully computerized and equipped with latest equipments.

regular reporting system viz. DPR (Daily Progress Report), WPR (Weekly Progress Report) and MPR (Monthly Progress Report) is done to the Head Office on basis of that all the site works are minutely monitored at Senior Level, which from time to time suggest and assist the site staff to achieve the projected targets.
